The Opening Reception on Thursday May 5th for the 10th anniversary of the Kingston Arts Council’s Juried Arts Salon was well received by art enthusiasts and the organizing volunteers. Of significance was the juror’s selection for the show of Sheila Ballantyne’s painting “Under Surveillance” and George Hurst’s Pyrography “Metamorphic Self-Portrait”.
Of the over 250 submissions by 109 artists we were excited to be part of the jurors selection of the 44 pieces that are on display until May 30th, 2011 at the Central Branch of Kingston Frontenac Public Library, 130 Johnson Street Kingston.
